Good co-living is built from small, clear agreements and mutual care.

Spaces and privacy

The community kitchen is the main space for living together and gatherings. The large oven is inefficient for day-to-day cooking, and the same goes for the dishwasher: they are useful mainly for large events.

Leave private rooms private, ask before photographing people or spaces, and keep noise considerate.

Privacy and visits to the modules

Because Muimenta is a new project, people will sometimes come to see the spaces. We want to show the rehabilitation without crowding your space, so:

• The connector will always let you know before a visit.
• If the timing does not work for you, you can say no, no problem.
• Nobody will enter your module without someone from the team.
• No surprise visits to the rooms.

Daily rhythm

• Do not assume every meal is shared. Each person sets their own rhythm, apart from agreed gatherings.
• Each resident organises their own meals.
• Security: you will be given the keys. Keep them safe: do not lose them, do not lend them, and return them at the end of your stay.
• Communication: for notices and everyday updates we use a WhatsApp group.

Shopping

You can order home-delivery shopping.

The bread van comes on Mondays and the fishmonger on Wednesdays.

Nearest shops:

• Komo Komo (Carballeda de Avia): the quickest option, a traditional-style shop for daily shopping — food, cleaning products and basic hardware. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-21:00; Saturday, 9:00-15:00 and 16:00-21:00.
• Eroski Center (Ribadavia): a bigger supermarket for a full shop, about 9 minutes by car; butcher, deli and fish counters, and covered parking. Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:15-21:45.

What to bring

Your bag should include:

• Shampoo and soap.
• Some food, especially if you arrive outside shop hours.
• An umbrella (it rains here!).
• A swimsuit and a beach towel for the pools and hot springs.

Sheets and towels are already at the house.

Cleaning

Leave every shared space at least as ready as you found it.

Shared spaces

• Wash and put away what you used.
• Wipe surfaces and take rubbish to the right place.
• Tell the team about anything that needs repair.

Events

Agree beforehand who sets up and who closes the space.
